Why Pluto Instruments?

The detection and manipulation of discrete quantum states are crucial not only for scientific research but also for the practical applications of quantum information processing. In terms of electrical methodology, quantum states can be highly isolated and separated by significant electrical and thermal barriers. These barriers manifest as high source impedance and heavy input capacitance on the current preamplifier's input, requiring exceptional voltage-driven low current detection to achieve low noise, high signal bandwidth, and low quantum decoherence. Therefore, it is essential to use cutting-edge detection techniques that can accurately measure quantum states while minimizing any interference or noise that could jeopardize the integrity of the system.

Pluto Instruments specializes in the manufacturing of high-sensitivity current preamplifiers (transimpedance amplifiers) that cater to the extraordinary current detection requirements of scientists and engineers. Our state-of-the-art technology offers exceptional low-current detection, ensuring low noise and high signal bandwidth. We are committed to producing innovative instruments that enable precise and accurate measurement of quantum states, empowering scientists and engineers to push the boundaries of quantum science. Pluto Instruments is dedicated to delivering cutting-edge solutions that meet the evolving needs of our clients.

PCG-CONISCO
The FASTEST transimpedance amplifier

The PCG-CONISCO series is a quantum leap in low noise transimpedance amplifiers, shattering the 1 MHz signal bandwidth barrier at a gain of 100 nA/V (with a single 10 MΩ feedback R) and 10 nA/V (with a single 100 MΩ feedback R), making it the first of its kind in the market. Conventional transimpedance amplifiers typically struggle with unstable operation or significantly reduced signal bandwidth due to high input (source) capacitance. But the PCG-CONISCO series overcomes these challenges, delivering fast and stable performance on top of low noise, even with input capacitance up to 1 nF.

PCG-380F

The PCG-380F is an exceptional high sensitivity current preamplifier that delivers reliable conversion of small current signals into tangible voltage signals (transimpedance) with full analog design, completely free of digital noise. The side-panel rotary switches enable easy selection of sensitivity and low pass filter bandwidth, with sensitivity covering a range of 1 µA/V to 1 nA/V and a low pass filter having a 1.5 - 5 sequence from 5 Hz to 140 kHz with 6 dB/octave roll-off. The device can be powered by any linear regulated ±15 V (±100 mA) DC power supply, and its compact size (5.32"L × 4.63"W× 1.35"H, 12.4 oz) allows it to be placed near the signal source, ensuring exceptional performance. For any application requiring fast, precise, and low noise small current signal processing, PCG-380F is undoubtedly the best choice.
