PCG-CONISCO

The FASTEST Transimpedance Amplifier

The PCG-CONISCO series is a revolutionary line of low-noise transimpedance amplifiers that have shattered the 1 MHz signal bandwidth barrier with a gain of 100 nA/V (with a single 10 MΩ feedback R) and 10 nA/V (with a single 100 MΩ feedback R), making it the first of its kind on the market. This amplifier is specifically designed to overcome challenges associated with conventional transimpedance amplifiers that struggle with the unstable operation or significantly reduced signal bandwidth due to high input capacitance. With the CONISCO series, researchers can enjoy the fast and stable performance on top of low noise, even with input capacitance up to 1 nF. Whether you are conducting research in physics, materials science, or electronics, the CONISCO series is sure to impress with its unique capabilities.

FEATURES

  • Fast frequency response : DC to ~ 1 MHz

  • High sensitivity : 100 nA/V or 10 nA/V

  • Stable operation up to 1 nF input (source) capacitance

  • Low noise : less than 2 nV/√Hz input voltage noise

Fig.1 PCG-CONISCO-7G (100 nA/V gain, 10 MΩ feedback-R) frequency response:

2 µA pk-pk square wave current is injected into the input of the TIA. The bandwidth is estimated by using the relation (Signal BW = 0.35 / rise time [10-90%]). The PCG-CONISCO-7G makes ~ 1 MHz signal bandwidth.

Fig.2 In the traditional TIA topology, high input (source) capacitance of the very fast TIA could lead to “oscillation” or “overshoot” or significant reduction of the bandwidth. The PCG-CONISCO can be tolerable up to 1 nF.
